No windfarms should be built that endanger bird and bat routes. Trees and animal habitats should be planted and no fracking should be allowed due to earthquake concerns.

Businesses installing photovoltaic panels should do so on the roof to avoid theft. Secure perimeter fencing and monitored CCTV is important for solar farms.

Wind turbines and the Anaerobic Digester are established. There now appears to be the opportunity to preserve the countryside with the proposals for Solar energy.

Support for Policy NB5 Renewable and Low Carbon Energy Generation;
However I would like to see a slight amendment, Paragraph 2 which states; “In addition to conformity with other local plan polices, Solar proposals must also demonstrate that”
The amendment needs to add wording in the middle of the above statement as follows; “ In addition to conformity with other local plan polices, INCLUDING BATTERY STORAGE SCHEMES must also demonstrate that”.
This will make the policy more inclusive as Battery Storage Systems are often connected to Solar Energy Farms

There are times when provision of renewable energy technologies and impacts on the historic environment are incompatible. There may be areas/sites that are unsuitable due to the impacts on the significance of heritage assets and their setting -request that this is considered.
