Representation Summary:

The 4000 home contribution towards homes in the GBBCHMA has been calculated using data which is now out of date and the figure should be removed/revised. If these homes are built in Staffordshire's proposed areas they will result in a destruction of the greenbelt contrary to government policy. Due to South Staffs unique geographical location there is an abundance of brownfield land in close proximity in neighbouring authorities which would preserve the greenbelt in line with government policy and the Levelling Up and Regeneration bill

Representation Summary:

4000 extra dwellings is a near doubling of housing requirement to 2038. Numbers for DtC in flux following collapse of Black Country Plan. South Staffs should withdraw 4000 contribution and should not be meeting Wolverhampton's 35% uplift.
