Loades Limited supports the proposed allocation of the above site for residential development. The site comprises vacant industrial premises which have been marketed for the past 12 months without success. The premises are also in a poor condition, with part having an EPC rating of 'F', requiring significant levels of investment to bring them back into a useable condition.

Notwithstanding the proposed allocation for housing, the site is still included in Table 9 as one of the District's main employment areas. This is inconsistent and this reference should be deleted.
