It is our client’s view that land to the north of the Chase Gate Public House on Wolverhampton Road, Wedges Mills should be allocated for housing as a small / medium sized housing site in the emerging Local Plan in accordance with paragraph 69 of the NPPF. The site is located in a highly sustainable location on the edge of the built-up area of Cannock. The site is available, suitable and viable for residential development and could delivery up to 50 dwellings within a relatively short period of time.
