General support for spatial development strategy with particular emphasis on the continued allocation of strategic sites for employment along the M54 corridor. With particular regard to the proposed allocation of the WMI site (see below) there is a continued need for a range and choice of good quality employment land which the delivery of the longstanding strategic employment allocations would provide.

General support for the principle of allocation of the WMI site but this should take place alongside delivery of other good quality employment land so that there is not an over-reliance on the WMI site coming forward that could result in difficulties if delivery of that site is delayed.
