Support the ommission of SCC landholdings west of Penkridge.
- The railway and M6 provide defined boundaries to Penkridge village.
- The scale of development would not facilitate distributor road across the railway and river. This road would also not reduce demand on the A449.
- The development will not deliver a bypass and thus in the short term exacerbate existing traffic issues.
- There are no distinct boundaries to the proposed site.
- The site is detached from the rail station and schools and will generate increased traffic volume.
- Downgrading the A449 fails to take into account its linkages to businesses and nearby settlements.
