Representation Summary:

Penkridge doesnt have the necessary road capacity for the proposed development. There is one main road A449, fed by country lanes. there is no bypass as the village is between the motorway and the railway, meaning all motorway traffic comes through the village when there is an incident. There is no Northbound access to the M6 from the M54 meaning all northbound traffic comes through the village. adding 1200 houses with no additional road will make movement around the village impossible
