For Wombourne- developments of 500-1000 dwellings would be expected to deliver a new local centre according to the IDP. This logic should not just apply to singular developments, it should apply to cumulative developments within an area. There is no provision for a new local centre in Wombourne, despite 514 dwellings being proposed.

Highways- Staffordshire County Council budgets for Highway maintenance have been slashed. Statutory duties such as road sweeping, gully emptying are not being performed currently, leading to frequent flooding. SCC are not in a position to increase this neglect.
