Representation Summary:
Clauses 4 a) and b) are confusing as both include reference to a mixture of points relating to heritage and other issues. A separate clause relating to historic environment is required, setting out what the expectation is for historic farmsteads and how they should be conserved. This should include appropriate and sensitive reuse where appropriate, ensuring the form, scale and layout of the site respect the historic farmstead and its relationship with the surrounding landscape within which it is situated.
