The objectives do not incorporate the following;
- Ensure that all brownfield in the local vicinity has been fully developed before releasing green belt.
- Ensure that the 1.1 million housing that has been granted permission is built before releasing green belt
- Ensure that brownfield yield is maximised before releasing green belt and that this is verified independent of the council and developers so profit is not put before the green belt
