Representation Summary:
(a) Support the promotion of Brinsford Strategic Park and Ride and request this is fully promoted in the SSLP
(b) Trip generation should be assessed on routes into the urban area and then minimised through local services, multi-modal connectivity and maximising future transport developments (EV usage). Good access to the rail network and high quality pedestrian and cycling infrastructure are important. Excessive pressure on sensitive transport links (e.g. A454, A460 in Wolverhampton and A449, A491 in Dudley) should be avoided. Initial indications from early modelling are that potential impacts on Wolverhampton highways can be mitigated.
