Site 079. We note that a recent application for a Portakabin housing 2 additional consulting rooms at the Brewood Medical Centre has been approved. Considering the current capacity and the proposed increase in housing in the area the practice serves, does the practice have sufficient space to expand? It should be noted that sufficient car parking must be provided on-site as parking must not spill out onto Kiddemore Green Road. Part of the 079 site should be reserved for future expansion.

In reference to site 036c I object. The local infrastructure cannot sustain further houses, the local doctors does not have capacity and the schools are full. The traffic going into town at rush is currently high and a further 168 houses will make it worse. There are currently several houses being built locally and there is no need for further estates. This field has had several planning applications and each time these have been rejected for these reasons. Please do not build on this site.

I agree re: 036c- there aren’t enough newer houses for that area of Stafford. We live in rented accommodation at the moment and our children are already settled in schools. To move to other newer housing developments would affect high school placements and childcare issues. The old estates are looking tired and the layout of the houses on Baswich and Wildwood are not fit for a family in the 21st century. I welcome these plans and will be very interested in purchasing one.

I object to the proposed development on Langley Road, this development will have an adverse affect on the residents of the ward I represent on CWC Merry Hill. Access to this site through Bellencroft Gardens is unacceptable as it is a residential area, with many older people.
It will impact on local schools, medical practices and have a drastic impact on our already busy highways.
The use of this green space will affect the mental wellbeing of local residents who use this space for recreational purposes.

Housing development on this scale is not required. You will help to create donuts around empty town and city centres. This is old thinking, Brexit and Covid have changed the UK for good and your strategy should adapt to that.

Swindon - The land off Himley lane is a clear breach into open greenbelt, will compound an already overwhelmed road structure and provides numerous dangers to the village.
Two land sites, 312a and 437 which represent an 'infill' opportunity, with more appropriate highways access and provide an open / greenbelt space at the rear of 437 to protect the environment and its beauty.
Site 437 offers a unique Environmentally friendly, sustainable (passive housing) small development of 18 dwellings (14 of which are 2 and 3 bed affordable housing) to provide the village of Swindons needs, in a safe manner

Site Reference Number 133 (School Road/Billy Buns Lane/Gilbert Lane).
*Loss of open countryside; buffer from A449.
*This development plus other recent developments will result in village character being lost, becoming part of the urban sprawl.
*Will have a significant impact on the local infrastructure - doctors, schools, police.
*Traffic will significantly add to already congested roads in and out of the village at the beginning and end of working day.
*Increased traffic leading to increased pollution and road safety concerns near local school.
*Increased risk of flooding - less natural drainage for rain - area where roads often flood.

This is unfair and impacts on wildlife, congestion and family life. My partner is asthmatic and my daughter also uses inhaler and we already struggle to go and shop works. Adding additional cars and users will make this much worse and the issue does not support the climate change agenda

Site286, Sytch lane Wombourne. Nearby school traffic already causes major problems. More cars exiting onto Sytch Lane will make things worse. Proposed site is near to school & will be dangerous for children. There are already developments nearby & Sytch Lane is not suitable for more traffic. The site is next to existing houses & construction would cause major air & noise pollution & disruption. Please consult the people in Sytch Lane before proceeding.
Village centre is already congested & parking is difficult. Amenities are stretched. Cramming in more houses near the centre will add to the misery for us.

Sites 463 a b c d Billy Buns lane/School Road/A449 Island,Congestion already exists around this area and would increase with the addition of more housing and more pollution. Site 463 d Housing adjacent to the A449 a two lane highway noise pollution general well being how safe is this environmentlly? Local resources Police Doctors Schools compromised with an increased population. A village well on its way to losing its character and falling into the closing boundary of Wolverhampton. I came to live in Wombourne for the green spaces that surround it,lets not loose them consider them an asset to Wombourne.

I DO NOT support the above housing proposals.
Wombourne is a very large village with a limited number of schools, doctors, parking spaces for the current occupiers. The proposed housing will only increase the difficulties already encountered unless the above facilities are going to be included in the plans. There have already been two large developments recently nearing completion near the village meaning an additional strain on current resources. The increase in traffic along already busy roads will also increase pollution in the village which will ultimately affect the health of the community and impact on climate change.

Land 036c @ Weeping Cross South of Stafford. We object strongly at the the inclusion of this land for housing development. It is not low grade agricultural land and is used for various crops and animal grazing. Local wildlife such as Deer, Hares, Rabbits, Pheasants and Bats will all be displaced. Local roads and infrastructure cannot cope with any more traffic on the A34. There are already 3 roads exiting onto the Cannock Road in a 150 metre stretch in this area. Local Schools, Doctors, Dentist and Health Centres are already full to capacity.

In general the plan is well thought out however I am concerned about the use of open countryside and green belt within the proposed Plan and think brownfield sites in urban areas should be used before eating up our precious open countryside.
However I would like to make an objection to site no. 610 in the proposed Local Plan. Marston Road/Fentonhouse Lane, Wheaton Aston.

Site 274 has an allocation for a large number of houses, which would decimate the last remaining medieval meadowland in Kinver. The area at White Hill provides a vital role as a carbon bank, as untouched soil provides a carbon sequestering capacity which is only second to that provided by oceans. If South Staffordshire are serious about policies which account for the climate emergency, this development is a direct contradiction to this.

In my view the Tier 2 development plan ref 463 & 284 off Billy Buns Lane and School Rd are not sustainable. The reason is that local infrastructure cannot cope. In particular the School and footpath and road at the North East entrance to Wombourne on School Rd. The Petrol station and combined convenience store at the junction of School Rd and Station Rd his proven to be a problem for vehicles and traffic and more importantly a safety issue for pedestrians. The one petrol station for miles attracts vehicles from a wide area. More houses will make matters worse.

Increased traffic and air pollution. No transport links. Overloading of local schools and services. No local major employment. Increased risk of road traffic accidents. Disturbance of local wildlife. No supporting infrastructure. Should be developing brown field sites first and rejuvenating the city centre.

274,272,576. Kinver doesn't have the infrastructure for any more. It is inadequate and certainly not a 'main provider'. No employment opportunities, no petrol station, an unreliable bus service, schools are full, GP surgery is overwhelmed.
Housing need figures should be updated. The Duty to Cooperate is outrageous. Loosing greenbelt on this scale is not justified.
576. Greenbelt land and important Grade 3 arable farmland. Ecology and habitat loss will be disastrous. Flood risk onto Hyde Lane which is regularly blocked with surface water.
576/274 School run traffic is already congested and dangerous. More cars on the road will exacerbate this.

Site ref no: 638. Loades PLC, Great Wyrley.
Loades Limited supports the proposed allocation of the above site for residential development. The site comprises vacant industrial premises which have been marketed for the past 12 months without success. The premises are also in a poor condition, with part having an EPC rating of 'F', requiring significant levels of investment to bring them back into a useable condition.
Notwithstanding the proposed allocation for housing, the site is still included in Table 9 as one of the District's main employment areas. This is inconsistent and this reference should be deleted.
