Land North of Cocksparrow Lane (Site 732, identified as 'potentially suitable' in the 2022 SHELAA), should be considered as a Safeguarding Allocation (alongside the proposed allocation of Policy SA3, Site 016 'Pear Tree Farm') for its sustainable location related to established village facilities/amenities; its relatively low spatial and visual Green Belt/landscape impact; its immediate proximity to existing Public Open Space and access to established Public Rights of Way; and the multiple community based benefits (as identified in our previous submissions) offered, including the potential delivery of improved facilities and parking provision related to the adjoining existing sports ground.
