Sites 463 & 284 – Strongly object, would remove gateway to Wombourne village. Concerns raised over impact on surrounding areas, site specific considerations and effects on listed buildings and conservation area. Site has major negative effects on landscape and will adversely affect traffic in village centre. Concerns noted under multiple Sustainability Appraisal criteria.
Site 416 – Concerns noted under multiple Sustainability Appraisal criteria. Traffic congestion, migration of estates from Bridgnorth Road and cemetery impact also concerns.
Site 310b – Occupier may relocate and site is only assessed as having initial highways concerns. Other allocated sites are similarly remote from village centre and there are nearby supermarkets. Site is previously developed land and should be allocated.
