The land provides an important wildlife link between Cannock Chase AONB, Deepmore Meadows and Hazelstrine Wood. There are 25 trees and ancient thorn hedge on or around the site. Various wildlife sightings have also been spotted on the site.

Acton Hill Lane is heavily used by commuters and is very tight in places and the village community centre cannot be accessed via footpath. Little positive impacts will be achieved and more traffic will be put on Action Hill Rd.
