The Vision seeks to create ‘beautiful and thriving’ new places, however as stipulated in earlier representations to the Preferred Options Consultation, there also needs to be a greater emphasis placed on a Vision which is locally relevant. Whilst the Vision is succinct, as currently written it is not considered to be relevant locally and contains no spatially specific elements, and this should be reflected through further amendments to the Vision Statement.
